Cobalt Mortgage Expands in Texas Market
Cobalt Mortgage recently announced the opening of their Houston branch office. Jason Meinen, local mortgage professional and native Texan, has been named as the branch manager for this location. “Jason has been recognized for his oversight of regionally top-producing teams and has managed offices with over 50 loan officers,” stated Mike Matthews, Regional Manager. “We are confident that he will establish us as a leader in the Houston market place.”
With over 16 years of mortgage lending experience, Jason is currently focused on recruiting a top-producing team and training. “I appreciate the dedication to responsible lending that Cobalt Mortgage brings to the market,” said Jason Meinen. “I am proud to present the company’s accomplishments and core values to my contacts in the industry.” Jason has experience in all aspects of the industry, including wholesale, brokerage and management of retail operations at large banks.

A lifelong Texas resident, Jason attended Southwest Texas State University. He is a perennial supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Toys for Tots. Jason lives in Houston with his wife and five-year old daughter. They are expecting a son on Christmas day.
The new branch office for Cobalt Mortgage will be located just west of downtown Houston in the Galleria area on Post Oak Boulevard.
